c)What is process and processer?

Process

Instance of a computer program that is being executed. It contains the program code and its current activity. Depending on the operating system,a process may be made up of multiple threads of execution that execute instructions concurrently.

A computer program is a passive collection of instructions, a process is the actual execution of those instructions. Several processes may be associated with the same program, for example opening up several instances of the same program often means more than one process is being executed.

 Processor

Processors or word processing program, does exactly what the name implies. It processes words and allso processes paragraphs, pages, and entire papers. Some examples of word processing programs include Microsoft Word, WordPerfect (Windows only), AppleWorks (Mac only)and OpenOffice.

The first word processors were basically computerized typewriters, which did little more than place characters on a screen, which could then be printed by a printer.Modern word processing programs, however, include features to customize the style of the text, change the page formatting and may be able to add headers, footers, and page numbers to each page. Some may also include a "Word Count" option, which counts the words and characters within a document.
